NetworkIP, TranSoft Announce new Real-Time Automated Point of Sale Service for the e.Application and Access Exchange
Mar 12, 2001
First NetworkIP (www.networkip.net) brought its Distributors the ability to offer exceptional products like e.Prepaid Internet, e.Prepaid Calling Cards, e.Prepaid Long Distance, e.Conferencing, e.Cable (high-speed Internet access via cable modem), e.Exchange, Unified Messaging, and Stored Value Cards all on the same PIN. Now NetworkIP, an industry leading e.Application and Access Exchange of converged voice and data services, today announced a strategic business partnership with Transaction Software Inc. (TranSoft), an industry leader in the development and deployment Point of Sale Activation services. The two companies will provide a new Point of Sale Activation (POSA) solution for NetworkIP Distributors.
TranSoft's service allows NetworkIP-based cards to be activated through TranSoft-compliant Point of Sale devices. The TranSoft technology can be deployed at virtually and retail outlet nationwide. Using the versatile TranSoft System, a retailer can activate a card on a real-time basis utilizing the magnetic-stripe card reader. The system can be accessed from any location outfitted with such a device. This program allows a retailer to avoid keeping activated cards in their store, yet can be activated in a matter of moments when a sale is made.
"NetworkIP has been very selective in choosing application partners for our Customer solutions. TranSoft is a Point of Sale provider with a highly reliable, fast and cost effective network solution. We are very excited about the launch of this important feature," said Pat Bolinger, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for NetworkIP. "NetworkIP and TranSoft are delivering a superior Point of Sale solution for our Distributors."
"TranSoft is thrilled to work with NetworkIP to create a convenient and efficient Point of Sale service that delivers an efficient service to a targeted customer base. NetworkIP's large base and lead in the deployment of converged services on the same PIN made them the partner of choice" explains Steve Reedy, President of TranSoft.
