Mar 12, 2001
NetworkIP (www.networkip.net), an industry leading e.Application and Access Exchange today announced the launch of e.Conferencing. The NetworkIP e.Conferencing product is a fully automated, customer managed, PSTN based, audio-conferencing service, via a Web-based interface. A real-time Web interface allows the "Moderator" to sanction and participate in their own conference calls without ever having to speak with a coordinator or reservations agent. They can even monitor account activity and add time to the account without ever having to hang-up or speak to a service representative. e.Conferencing is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no restrictions.
NetworkIP brings innovative new features, robust capacity, and market leadership to the conferencing market. With e.Conferencing consumers only pay for what they use. The consumer's demand for the e.Conferencing solution has been brisk, given its exceptional price and performance advantages: . Dynamic
. Ease of use (simple control from a touch-tone phone or computer)
. Convenience (no reservation or appointment necessary for setup/immediate availability)
. Lower costs (only pay for minutes used)
. No cost of implementation or maintenance
. Scalable & Flexible
. Simple customer-managed services
e.Conferencing is fully integrated with the same Web-based service interfaces as NetworkIP's other superior stored value services. The distributor controls all service charges, round-ups, product expiration and product denominations. The distributor can also combine e.Conferencing with any combination of NetworkIP prepaid calling cards, long distance, and internet all on one card, using the same PIN. Multiple products on the same PIN mean greater profit per user, improved retention and larger potential revenue per card sold.
"I am very pleased to introduce e.Conferencing to our rapidly growing suite of products," said Pete Pattullo, President & CEO of NetworkIP. "NetworkIP has created a dynamic on-demand business solution. Now anyone can have their own conferencing account. e.Conferencing allows consumers access to a commitment-free, cost effective method of audio conferencing and in also allows the customer to manage their call on every level via the Web."
e.Conferencing is integrated into NetworkIP's e.Services Network, a flexible Web-based software application that allows real-time access to online profitability reports, back office billing, rate management, PIN activation and customer service functions. NetworkIP's converged voice and data services network utilizes Nortel's DMS-250, 30 port conference circuit packs in their LA & Longview facilities.
