It does not take a genius to figure out that the prepaid calling card market has changed radically in the last several years. Look at the companies who advertised and exhibited at trade shows five years ago, and see if you can find them now. Many are changed, merged, or just gone. NetworkIP was a company that started in the prepaid business in 1998. The “IP” in the name signaled a focus that it was not to be a traditional platform services company. And, it has not been conventional. For one thing, it has survived, even grown, where many others have fallen. DALLAS, TX (March 15) — NetworkIP, a leader in stored value solutions, has publicly launched an innovative application programming interface (API) that lets prepaid telecommunications resellers create and sell prepaid products, administer PINs, and manage prepaid inventory through branded, online e-Stores. In development for more than two years, NetworkIP’s new API is prepaid’s most sophisticated and easy-to-use Web interface for managing prepaid brands. NetworkIP’s CEO Pete Pattullo said, “Creating and differentiating Web-based services just got a whole lot easier. Our innovative and flexible technologies and tools make our customer’s services more reliable, their brands more marketable and their businesses more profitable.”
NetworkIP’s API is fully integrated with the company’s exclusive Integrated Connections Solution (ICS) technology that enables converged products combining Prepaid or Postpaid Calling Cards, Long Distance, Web and Audio Conferencing Services, Voice Mail, International Call Back, VoIP and Prepaid Internet. NetworkIP’s ICS system performs all the service logic. Resellers can also customize their product offerings with Auto Recharge, ANI as PIN, and Speed-Dial features.
All PINS and CDR information are stored on NetworkIP servers, accessible by resellers in real time. NetworkIP offers secure data protection, redundant components and maximum data storage reliability.
Programmer friendly and easy to use, NetworkIP’s API is delivered as a toolkit for a customer’s programming staff. SOAP and WSDL standards enable developers to program in several environments – such as Java, Perl, or Visual Studio .NET – saving valuable development time and money.
”If you’re a provider currently offering web based services but needing more flexibility and control, or have the business case and resources to get into this business, give us a call,” added Pattullo.
